First opened in 1930, the Apollo Victoria is one of the finest examples of art deco design in the country and was stunningly restored prior to the arrival of Wicked from Broadway. Originally built as a cinema, this majestic 2300 seat venue offers patrons a first-class theatregoing experience and was named the West End's 'Most Comfortable Theatre' (The Stage) and 'Favourite London Venue' .
The Apollo Victoria Theatre, home of Wicked, is just a 1 minute walk from London Victoria Mainline Station, supplied by Southern Trains, Southeastern Trains and the Gatwick Express, and is adjacent to the Victoria Underground Station, providing immediate access to the wider London network. The nearby Victoria Coach Station supplies further access to the rest of the UK.
Wicked is also within walking distance of some of London's world famous tourist attractions, including Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews,The Queen's Gallery, Westminster Abbey, the historic venue of the 2011 Royal Wedding, as well as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
Age Recommendation
Wicked is suitable for a general audience. As a guide to parents and guardians, it is recommended for ages 7+. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 3 years of age will not be admitted.
Bars and Kiosks
The Apollo Victoria has bars, kiosks and merchandise outlets in various positions throughout the theatre. Please note that all drinks (including alcoholic) can be taken into the auditorium as long as they are in a plastic cup – which can be obtained from any of bars.
Cameras & Mobile Phones
No cameras or recording equipment of any kind can be used inside the auditorium.
All mobile phones must be switched off prior to entering the auditorium.
Cloak Room
A cloakroom is available for people who wish to leave heavy coats or suitcases etc.

Latecomers
Patrons are reminded that as a courtesy to both other patrons and the performers, latecomers will only be admitted to the performance at a suitable break, and this is at the discretion of the management.
Lost Property
During a performance all lost property found is held at the Merchandise Kiosk situated within the main foyer. Please note that the venue is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings.
Programme
The Theatre Management reserves the right to change the programme without notice and are not held responsible for the non-appearance of any artists.
Seating / Standing
The safety curtain will be lowered and raised in the presence of each audience. All gangways, staircases and passageways shall be entirely free from chairs or any other obstruction. Persons shall not be permitted to sit or stand in any of the gangways.
Security
Guests are reminded to keep personal belongings with them at all times. When leaving the theatre please also be aware that pickpockets may operate in the area.
Smoking
The Apollo Victoria is a strictly NO smoking venue, patrons are kindly asked to smoke outside the venue. The Theatre Management reserves the right to refuse admission.
